Dataverse Accelerator is a new Experimental feature released by Microsoft to use the low-code plug-ins in the Dataverse environment. Low-code plug-ins are reusable, server-side synchronous business logic workflows that executes in real time.

In this article, will explain the step-by-step process of installing the Dataverse Accelerator App in the Dataverse Environment.

Prerequisites:

1. Click on the below article link and create a Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome Profile.
   
   Create a Profile in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome
   
2. Click on the below article link to create Power Apps Trial or If you have an Environment, then skip this step.
   
   Create Microsoft Power Apps 30 days Online Trial Version

Follow the below steps after the Prerequisites.

Step 1: Click here to Open Power Platform Admin Center in the new browser profile, created in the Prerequisites.

If you are using US GCC Cloud, then follow the below article for the Power Platform Admin Center Portal URL.

Step 2: Click on Environments.

Step 3: Choose the required Environment.

Step 4: Click on Resources and Click on Dynamics 365 apps.

You can see the list of all Installed Dynamics 365 Apps.

Step 5: Click on Open AppSource.

AppSource Home Page will be opened.

Step 6: Search for “Dataverse Accelerator” and Click on it.

Step7: Click on Get it now.

Navigating to Power Platform Environment.

Step 8: Choose the required environment and select the below two terms and conditions checkboxes and Click on Install.

Installation process started.

You can see the message that Dataverse Accelerator Installation started with Data and time and the user name who initiated this installation. Also, you can see the Status of the Dataverse Accelerator App as Installing…

This will take some minutes to install.

Once the installation is completed, you can see the status as Installed.

Step 9: Open Power Apps Maker Portal in a new Tab and Choose the required Environment.

Navigate to the Solutions to see the list of all solutions installed as part of the Dataverse Accelerator App Installation.

Step 10: Click on Apps and Click on Dataverse Accelerator App.

Step 11: Click on Allow.

Dataverse Accelerator App has been opened and you can start using this new Experimental feature.
