In this article, will explain the process to enable the 2023 Release Wave 1 updates in the Dataverse environment.
Note: Do not directly update this wave release updates in your high-level environments. Test thoroughly in your lower environments and proceed to high-level environments.
Pre-Requisites:
- Click on the below article link and create a Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome Profile.
Create a Profile in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome - Click on the below article link and follow till Step 19 to create Power Apps Trial and the Dataverse Environment.
Create Microsoft Power Apps 30 days Online Trial Version - Click on the below article to take the Backup of the required Environment before making any release updates.
Take the Back-Up of Dynamics 365 Online environment
Follow the below steps after Pre-Requisites.
Step 1: Open the Power Platform admin center and Click on the required environment.
Step 2: 2023 release wave 1 updates are Off by default under Updates section.
Click on Manage.
Note: Click on See what’s new in the release for the 2023 release wave 1 documentation.
Step 3: Click on Update now.
Note: The updates cannot be undone. Make sure to take the backup of the environment before doing any changes.
Step 4: Click on Confirm.
Update has started in the background.
2023 release wave 1 updates are Activating in the environment, and this will take some time.
Features are getting updated.
2023 release wave 1 features got updated to your required environment.
You can check the solution History for the list of all solutions imported for this wave release in the Power Apps Maker Portal.
