How to create Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Online 30 Days Trial Version?

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) (formerly known as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management – CRM) is designed to help you manage your client relationships by streamlining your processes, centralizing client information, providing analysis, and enabling responsive customer service.

In this article, will explain the steps to create Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Online 30 days Trial Version.

Follow the below to do the same.

Step 1: Click here to navigate to the below page.

Step 2: Click on Try for free.

Step 3: Enter your personal Email id and Click on Start your free trial.

Step 4: You will see an error “Please enter a work account for the best trial experience.

Click on set up to create a new account.

Step 5: Provide your personal email id in the Email field and Click on Next.

Step 6: Click on Set up account.

Step 7: Provide your information in First Name, Last Name, Business phone number, Company name, Company size and Country or Region.

Click on Next.

Step 8: Select either Text me or Call me and provide Country code and Phone number for verification.

Click on Send verification code.

Step 9: Enter your verification code received on your mobile and click on Verify.

Step 10: Provide a Unique name in the Domain name field and Click on Save.

I have provided Test as Domain name, got an error saying “Sorry, Test.onmicrosoft.com” is not available. Choose a different domain“, as this name was used already used by someone else earlier.

Choose a Domain name wisely and that should not match with the existing Enterprise Business/ Trial users.

Note: If your Domain name is unique on Save, the field will become as Read only and go to the Next step.

Step 11: Provide your Password and Confirm password and Click on Next.

Step 12: Once your account is created successfully, you can see the below message as “Your account is successfully created. Please sign in to continue.

Click on Sign In.

Step 13: Click on Don’t show this again checkbox and Click on Yes.

Signing is in progress.

Step 14: Dynamics 365 Trial account has been created successfully.

Click on Get Started.

Step 15: Choose your correct Account for the Trial that you have created and Click on it.

Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) will be opened and the Microsoft (default) environment is also created by default.

New environment screen also shown on the right hand side for creating a new Environment of Type Trial (subscription-based).

Step 16: Provide the below details.

3RegionSelect your nearest Region for quicker access of the Environment.
4PurposeProvide the Purpose of the Environment.

Note: Make sure to check Create a database for this environment is selected as Yes for creating Trial (subscription-based) environment.

This will be auto selected, when you choose Type as “Trial (subscription-based)“.

Step 17: Click on Next.

Step 18: Provide the below required details and Click on Save.

2URLEnter your organization name. Organization URLs must be unique. If your organization name has already been reserved in the destination datacenter, it won’t be available.  
3CurrencyThe base currency used for reporting.  
4Enable Dynamics 365 appsSelect Yes and make a selection to automatically deploy apps such as Dynamics 365 Sales and Dynamics 365 Customer Service. If you don’t select Yes at the time of database provisioning, you won’t be able to make this change later nor be able to install Dynamics 365 apps on this environment.
5Deploy sample apps and dataSelect Yes to include sample apps and data. Sample data gives you something to experiment with as you learn. You must select No for Enable Dynamics 365 apps for this setting to appear.
6Security groupSelect a security group to restrict access to this environment.

Environment creation is in progress.

Step 19: Contoso Dev Environment has been created successfully.

Step 20: Select on your environment and Click on Open environment to open your Dynamics 365 CRM Trial environment.
