How to delete an unwanted CRM environment in Dynamics 365 CRM Online?

You might have N number of Dynamics 365 environments created for different purposes in your Project and all the environments might not be required all the time. You can delete the existing environments, which are not in use.

In this article, will explain how to delete an existing unwanted Environment in Dynamics 365 CRM Online.

Follow the below steps to do the same.

Step 1: Login to Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) with valid credentials.

Step 2: Click on Environments and Choose your Environment which needs to be deleted.

In this example, I have an environment AP that needs to be deleted, selected the same.

Step 3: Click on Delete.

Step 4: Enter the environment name and Click on Confirm.

Environment deletion is in progress.

Environment will be deleted and it will take sometime based on its DB Size.

Mean while, you can see the below message.

Note: Deleted environment DB will be available only for 7 days from the date of deletion for recovery.

Environment AP is deleted successfully.
